The Twin Falls School District Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Miranda Brammer as the new associate principal at O’Leary Middle School. The new administrative hire was approved at the board meeting May 19, 2021. Brammer fills the role previously held by Sara Praegitzer who is taking the position of principal at South Hills Middle School.
Brammer is currently the Family Consumer Science Teacher at O’Leary Middle School where she has taught since 2019. She started her career in education as a fourth and eighth-grade math teacher with the Gooding School District in 2015. In 2018 she transitioned to the Shoshone School District where she taught fifth grade.
Brammer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Eastern Oregon University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University, which she earned in 2019. Brammer entered the education field utilizing the American Board of Certification of Teacher Excellence program. Brammer is a Twin Falls native and attended OMS as a student from 1997 to 2000.
“I am beyond thrilled to be the associate principal at OMS where I once walked the halls,” said Brammer. “Working with Ace and Sara these last few years has been an incredible experience that has undoubtedly prepared me for this role. I am looking forward to helping our students on a different level and am thankful to the staff and community for entrusting me with this responsibility.”
