We had an eventful morning at Lincoln Elementary School on Friday! Students raised enough money to reach our goal and Mrs. McKenzie had to kiss a very large, friendly, pig named Wilbur! Leaders from the month of February were announced and got a coupon for free pizza! So many prizes were given away for our Spell-A-Thon fundraiser and overall it was a great day to celebrate our wonderful students and all their hard work!

Dear Lincoln Parents,
On February 28, 2025, we will be kicking off our 1st annual Lincoln Spell-A-Thon fundraiser! Our fundraiser goal is $6,000. If every student collected just $20, we would earn more than $6,400. We can be successful with your help. Let’s make this our greatest fundraiser yet!. All proceeds will continue to support student-centered needs, including field trips and technology, at Lincoln Elementary. Some field trips we do at Lincoln include: Tubbs Berry Farms, Harrett Center, and the Boise field trip.
Your student will receive a pledge envelope and a spelling list to study. Students are encouraged to collect pledges from friends and family; please do not allow your child to collect pledges door-to-door for safety reasons. Pledges can be made on a “per word” or a “flat rate” basis. (*See examples on packet)
Your student will be taking their spell-a-thon spelling test day, February 13th. We will send the corrected spelling test home with them to show their sponsors. February 26th students need to bring their envelopes back with their pledge money and turn it in to their teacher.
The students who collect the most money in the school will win prizes which will be rewarded during the Prize Assembly on February 28th We will have one 1st place prize, two 2nd place prizes, six 3rd place prizes, and prizes for all kids who bring in $5, $10, $25, $50, $75, $100 or more, $200 or more, and $300 or more. We will also have a teacher prize for the class who earns the most money.
Thank you for your support of our school! We want all our students to study hard and do their best. If you have any questions you can contact Samantha Mauch, mauchsa@tfsd.org
Thank you,
Lincoln Staff
