D.C. Spring Break Trip
Attention 8th graders going on the D.C. trip with Mr. Nelson this Spring Break. There will be a
meeting to discuss more details of the trip on Tuesday January 27th at 7pm in Mr. Nelson’s room. Hope to see all those who are going on that trip at the meeting.
O’Leary has been selected to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as NAEP. The results are called The Nation’s Report Card because it measures student achievement across the country. It is important because the results help the President, Congress, and all of our educators make decisions about how to improve our education system.
Cheers to all the new schools!
As part of our TFSD community, be a part of the decisions regarding the new schools.

Attention all writers…
The Optimist Club of Twin Falls would like to invite all the students in the TFSD secondary schools to participate in the annual essay contest. The topic for this year is: OPTIMISM SHOULD BE A PRIORITY. Three cash prizes ($150, $125 & $100) will be awarded and the winner will go on to compete for larger prizes at the district level. Last year, our first place winner, Kylie Hansen, an 8th grader at O’Leary Middle School went on to win Districts and an additional $2500! The essays and applications are due on February 13.
